COURSE COMPLETION TIME
You have 90 days to complete the course, assignments, quizzes and exam(s). Once the 90 days are over you are provided unlimited access for one year, so that the course may be used as an on-going reference tool. Customized solutions to meet individual goals are also available.
COURSE LENGTH
Courses average 4-8 hours in length and run on standard desktop PCs using later versions of Internet Explorer or Netscape. Course functionality includes features such as bookmarking, test scoring and tracking, course completion, administrative reports, instructor e-mail, user support via e-mail and 360-degree survey and feedback.
GRADING SYSTEM
Each course is made up of several lessons with a quiz or assessment at the end of each lesson, a preliminary assessment called the Knowledge Check, a Glossary, Instructor e-mail support, and links to multiple resources. Quizzes have from 5-15 questions, depending on the amount of material covered in the lesson, and the results are averaged to achieve the total grade. A grade of 70% or higher is considered passing, and students receive certificates.
