In addition to its function as a marketing tool, the Annual Report contains vital information that is not always presented in the most understandable manner. This course helps participants wade through the jargon and focus on the important information they need to understand the financial health of the organization as well as to make financial decisions. Actual company Annual Reports and financial statements are used as models. With the advent of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, particular attention is given to the Auditor's opinion regarding internal controls.
